Gaurav Srivastava reported Niels Troost’s violations to authorities - and this has been characterized as “disinformation”

After discovering Niels Troost’s sanctions violations in the billions of dollars, Gaurav Srivastava reported this to authorities. Troost was subsequently sanctioned by the EU, UK, Switzerland and Monaco - and his defense that he was led to believe he was operating under a secret CIA program has never held up.

Yet reporters such as Tom Wilson, the Senior Energy Correspondent for the Financial Times, have unfairly characterized my actions as a “disinformation campaign” against Niels Troost (I have written more extensively on this here).
