While Niels Troost was visiting Gaurav Srivastava in Bali, we dangled access to Asian markets to lure Gaurav into a partnership.

Only in hindsight did Gaurav realize that Troost had no intention of ever pivoting away from the Russian oil trade, for which Troost was later sanctioned.
